PASIC Champions

We would like to say a HUGE thank you to all our community and corporate champions, who have helped to raise funds for PASIC.  We’re so grateful for your support!!

Domestic & General Launch "Raise £39 Challenge"

Supporting PASIC will be the drive behind fundraising efforts at Domestic & General’s Nottingham office throughout 2016. Craig White, UK customer service director at Domestic & General, which provides appliance care said: “PASIC is such a great cause and was voted for by our employees to support this year as our regional charity.” Domestic & General is launching its initial fundraising initiative for PASIC with its Raise £39 campaign. Each employee in its 900-strong Nottingham team will be challenged to raise £39 to reflect that PASIC is based on ward E39. This partnership will mean a lot to PASIC. At the moment it is an exciting time for us as we are branching out to help more families and children than ever.

Here Come the Girls!

Brinsley Community Choir, directed by Charlotte Bullock, sang their hearts out at 2 charity concerts in April. They hit a real high note by raising an amazing £1500.  The group of over 50 singers sang a range of songs by female artists including Aretha Franklin and Duffy.  PASIC Fundraising manager Louise, shown here meeting the choir to receive the cheque, says ‘I’m so impressed by the incredible amount they raised in just 2 concerts, it will help fund a range of activities for the young people PASIC support.

Rhianna's Loom Bands

A very special young girl has been tirelessly working away making customised Loom Bands to raise money for PASIC.  Rhianna, who is currently being treated at Nottingham Children’s Hospital for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia has had trouble keeping up with all the orders for the colourful wristbands, but she hasn’t stopped!  We’re so grateful for all her hard work and helping to Raise an amazing £111.26!!  And with the orders still coming in she’s still a very busy girl! Thank you Rhianna, you really are a star!!

Sherwood Sunrisers

We were delighted to receive a donation of £100 from the members of the Sherwood Sunrisers Rotary Club.  We met with the group at one of their breakfast meetings in April to tell the Rotarians about how PASIC support children and young people with cancer throughout Nottingham and the East Midlands.  It was so lovely to meet with the club and talk to them about how they could help and we were so pleased to receive a donation from the Sunrisers!  A huge THANK YOU to you all for supporting our work!

The Grantham Lions

GLOn 15th May we attended a presentation at the Grantham Lions and were so pleased to receive a donation of £250! Thank you so much to all the members who voted for PASIC to receive this fantastic donation, the money raised will go towards our organised days out for families to enjoy.

The Balloon Printing Company

BPCPASIC would like to thank the Balloon Printing Company in Mansfield for their support.  On the search for some charity balloons we wanted to stay local and came across this fantastic company who use their business to help support charities.  On placing an order we received a donation of 100 extra balloons, 100 balloon stick and a pump!  We were also delighted when they chose to support PASIC as their Charity of the Month in May, helping to raise awareness of the work we do supporting children and young people with cancer.  We'd like to express our thanks to the Balloon Printing Company for all their support, it's a HUGE help!

The Wheatsheaf Inn

Thank You to everyone who attended the Beer Festival at The Wheatsheaf Inn and helped to raise £120!  Special thanks to the organiser, Mick Turner for nominating PASIC to receive this fantastic donation.
